Tasky does not collect, store, sell, or share your personal data. Tasky is a native macOS client for Google Tasks. It runs entirely on your Mac.
When you choose to sign in, Tasky uses Google's official OAuth flow to request access to your Google Tasks. Your task lists and tasks are exchanged directly between your Mac and Google's servers so the app can display and edit them. This data is processed on your device and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Your Google authorization token is stored locally on your Mac (in the system keychain / app preferences) so you stay signed in. A small on-device snapshot of upcoming tasks may be cached locally to power the menu bar and widget. None of this is transmitted to the developer.
You can sign out in Tasky at any time to remove the stored authorization from your Mac, and you can revoke Tasky's access from your Google Account permissions page.
Tasky is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
